11/16/15
PITTSBURGH –It’s been several weeks since the voting ended for the inaugural TRA Honors – Track & Field. Newly developed, this recognition program was created to celebrate the athletic achievements of association members. The program may also recognize coaches, volunteers or those who display great sportsmanship. Winners will be chosen biannually for either the track & field or cross country seasons. The TRA Board scoured dozens of athletic performances and coaching credentials to nominate members for consideration and over 100 members participated in the vote. Calculations have been completed and the 1st class selected!
The Association is excited to recognize so members and their achievements. We look forward to the cross country season and creating more ways to give back to those who give so much to the sport. Each have received a customized plaque to commemorate their efforts.
