TRA Members represent well at 2017 USATF Club XC Championships

PITTSBURGH – Several Three Rivers open and masters athletes traveled to Lexington, KY to participate in the USATF Club Cross Country Championships. The event included distances 6km for individual and team women’s races and 8km and 10km for men’s races.
The Pittsburgh Pharaoah Hounds placed 19th of 30 teams in the open women’s team standings. Wolf Creek Track Club placed 45th of 49 teams in the open men’s 10km team standing.
Eric Shafer of the Pittsburgh Pharaoh Hounds had a strong individual performance placing 60th out of 272 runners in the Masters Men 40+ 10km in a time of 35:19.
