Six Three Rivers Association Athletes headed to USATF Juniors

PITTSBURGH- The Three Rivers Association will send six (6) athletes to compete in the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships to held in Clovis, California at Veterans Memorial Stadium at Buchanan High School from June 24-26, 2016. This meet is a who’s who of the next generation of track and field superstars. The competition is often filled with some of the country’s top division 1 athletes and can serve as a qualifier or “trials” event in world competition years.

The contingent will compete in events both on the track and in the field and is led by throwers Jordan Geist and Evan Blare, each entered and declared in the shot put and discus. Other notable participants include 2015 Three Rivers Association Track & Field Honors winners Madison Wiltrout and Ayden Owens.
